MLC is a standard diesel engine lubricant formulated with quality base oils and well-proven additives.
Benefits:
- The diesel detergency performance of MLC meets the requirements of API-CD. Its load carrying properties meet load stage 11 of the FZGA/8.3/90 test.
- Oxidative corrosion and thermal stability are adequate for traditional and less demanding engines.
MLC 30 and 40 oils are widely approved for use in medium-speed propulsion and generator engines operating on distillate fuels.
Applications:
MLC with a BN of 12 mg/KOH/g provides the level of detergency needed to accommodate the conditions found in traditional trunk-piston marine diesel engines and the effects of burning poorer quality distillate fuels.
